ABOUT
At Danone Nutricia Research - Precision Nutrition Digital Lab of Singapore we are excited to find partners who would embark with us in the journey of bringing health to people through digital innovation, with a particular focus on early life. We are calling for all international startups or teams of technologists who may have relevant skills or solutions to take part in the first D2Hack: the Danone Digitalization Hackathon. CHALLENGE CATEGORIES
Safe Serve: We are looking for allergen detection technologies that alerts parents about the potential presence of specific allergens.
Tummy Tones: We are looking for a technology that can track the bowel activities and sounds in a child’s tummy.
Nutri Know: We are looking for a non-invasive technology that smartly and conveniently tracks nutritional status based on a child’s food consumption or nutrient absorption.
Baby Biome: We are looking for a sensor technology that helps identify early problems in baby’s microbiome.
Track Me: We are looking for a solution that provides parents with one or more indicators about their baby’s development.
PRIZES AND RESOURCES
Cash Prizes: Winner, first-runner up and second-runner up will be awarded with a money prize of S$8,000, S$5,000 and S$3,500 respectively.
Mentorship: Private mentorship sessions by NUS Enterprise and Danone Nutricia Research for finalists.
Exposure to NUS Enterprise and local network of industry partners, companies, investors and startup mentors.
Startup SG Grant: Enterprise Singapore will award one Startup SG grant of S$50,000 to the winner of the D2Hack.(T&C Applies.)
Automatic admission for the D2Hack winner to the Top 100 Global startups of SLINGSHOT 2019, held during SWITCH, in Singapore in November.
Potential Strategic Partnership with Danone Nutricia Research: Opportunity to establish a longer term partnership with the Precision Nutrition D-Lab to further develop / commercialize your product or proof-of-concept.
We are ready to allocate an estimated worth of S$ 30,000 (at least) in highly specialized R&I and industry skillsets (access to laboratories, scientists, business strategist, marketing specialists, patent attorneys, etc.) to support the development of your proposal.
